Wednesday 6th October

Today we have two student blog entries:

-----

Wow, today was great. We did so much. Who would have thought that we could do so much in one day.

Zipwire – Was so high up!
Aeroball – on a trampoline!
Jacob’s Ladder – the steps keep on getting higher!
Nightline – It was daylight, and then in went dark.

These are some of the things that we did today. Also, we are making lots of new friends.

Over the last few days we have had loads of fun on many once-in-a-lifetime activities. Here is a description of what we did today:

Today we did problem solving. We had to work together to solve a series of problems. Then we did Nightline – this is where you are blindfoldedand have to go into a forest and follow a rope over a number of obstacles. Next we did Orienteering where we had to find a series of numbers and then stamp them. After this, we did Zipwire – everyone enjoyed this – we jumped off a tower on a zip wire and went really fast! Then we had a quick go-karting session and a game of Lazer Quest which was really fun. “It was sick” said Poppy in 7N.

Teacher comment: Thank you for all your messages. We are now printing out the comments on the blog and putting them up on the noticeboard for the students to read – keep them coming!

Lastly, some outstanding initiative - peaceful relaxation (after an action-packed day) led by the girls themselves!

I have been trying to spot you in the photos. Is that you doing a juggling thingy? Have you tried fencing - that looks fun! But that high-wire looks terrifying! Miya said to me on Tuesday night "I miss Ren" - maybe because she has no one to shout at?! We all miss you. Going to choose kittens on Saturday, so hurry home. Love ya, Daddy xxx
